A Hello from our VP of Learning and Development

Hi!

My name is Coco Svindland, and I am thrilled to serve as Iota Theta’s VP Learning & Development this year. I am originally from Wilmington, Delaware, so I know what it's like to be far from home, which drives my passion for making ZTA a welcoming place for every new member. As an Industrial & Systems Engineering major with additional minors, I’ve learned how to balance college life. My goal this year is to help new members feel supported, not overwhelmed, as they adjust to college and sorority life.

Joining ZTA my freshman year was one of the best decisions I’ve made. I can’t wait to share that excitement with our new members. I love meeting people and building genuine connections, so serving in this role means a lot to me. I was lucky to have an incredible VP Learning & Development as a new member, who completely shaped my ZTA experience. I am grateful for the opportunity to create the same welcoming environment for new members. I am excited to support and mentor each new member as they find their place in ZTA.

The new member experience includes lessons, a retreat, and the Big/Little sister process. Each element is designed to help new members feel welcomed and supported in ZTA. I am excited to meet everyone and can’t wait to serve as VP Learning & Development this year!

Zeta Love & More, Coco Svindland
